Introducing Vault Submissions Publishing eLearning: End User Training to Improve User Adoption and Submission Success
Publishing can be a challenging and siloed process with disjointed systems for sharing, reviewing, publishing, and validating dossiers. However with Vault Submissions Publishing, regulatory teams can consolidate those publishing activities into a single, unified RIM solution, which eliminates manual efforts, fosters collaboration, and provides automated workflows and real-time tracking.
Shifting Away from Traditional Publishing Processes
Vault Submissions Publishing is unique in that it moves traditional publishing tasks earlier in the submission lifecycle and eliminates other steps completely. It can take some time to adapt to this new way of working, and even the most experienced publishers may carry over habits and expectations from past tools and systems. This may also create a barrier to entry for new users that are onboarding for the first time.
Another compounding factor is that new Vault Submissions Publishing features are rolled out three times a year along with things like template optimizations and support for evolving industry standards. These updates may pose a challenge to regulatory teams who are responsible for maintaining training materials and optimizing system performance. Plus, users may feel overwhelmed by the continuous changes, creating resistance to a tool that adjusts so frequently.
Unfortunately, existing resources are limited, with most training material targeted to admin-level users rather than end users who require more guidance on maintaining healthy publishing processes. To address these challenges, we are introducing a new end user training offering called Vault Submissions Publishing eLearning.
How Does Vault Submissions Publishing eLearning Work?
Vault Submissions Publishing eLearning is a comprehensive online training program that educates users on the key publishing process steps for creating compliant content from initial planning to final submission. This offering was designed by Veeva publishing experts and is targeted toward publishing users that are already familiar with Vault basics like navigation and the core object model, but that want to dive deeper into publishing specifics.
This is an ad-hoc, self-paced, and computer-based training with regular updates that mirror the Veeva product release cycle, so users always have access to the latest release-based training, best practice recommendations, and information to stay compliant with health authority guidance. The training content library will expand over time with advanced courses covering topics like region-specific publishing considerations, AdPromo Submissions, or Working Documents in the EU to feature-specific deep dives like the Linking Dashboard. With Vault Submissions Publishing eLearning, biopharma organizations will be able to onboard new users even faster than before with more tailored information and up-to-date resources so they can hit the ground running.
Vault Submissions Publishing eLearning is planned for launch in early 2024. If you’re interested in learning more, please reach out to your Strategy representative.
