Mr. Amann was previously with Siebel Systems, Inc. (now part of Oracle Corporation), which he joined in 1996 and helped build into an industry leader with more than $1.4 billion in revenue. Mr. Amann oversaw Siebel’s worldwide legal affairs as General Counsel and a member of the company’s executive management committee. He helped guide the company through its initial and secondary public offerings and successfully closed more than 20 acquisitions on behalf of Siebel — including its $5.8 billion sale to Oracle Corporation in 2006. He also helped Siebel expand its operations to approximately 5,000 employees in more than 30 countries worldwide and helped the company build one of the largest patent portfolios in its industry.
