Every year we honor Veeva Heroes who have enabled positive change at their organization. This year’s heroes are extraordinary people, accelerating advances across life sciences, at an extraordinary time. They have enhanced performance, streamlined regulatory processes, and transformed the way their companies operate.
Dominique Lagrave and Derek VanRheenen

With more than 11,000 users, Amgen’s Product Variation and Regulated Document Management program is improving how it manages product changes across the organization. Dom and Derek steered Amgen through a RIM implementation that streamlines process, drives greater efficiencies, and delivers a single source of truth for regulatory content and data.
Anders Persson and Debbie Brook
Anders and Debbie led the implementation of the Veeva Vault Clinical Operations Suite at AstraZeneca. The company has a vision to create a better future for its patients. It was this goal that inspired Anders and Debbie to embark on a journey to reimagine the future of patient outcomes. Vault Clinical Suite has empowered them to simplify, reinvent, and innovate by removing disparate systems, improving accessibility, and unifying data. Their collaboration and dedication to program success enabled them to turn their vision into a reality.
Christian Lamont and Dennis Rodman
Chris and Dennis undertook an ambitious implementation to replace seven legacy systems and all GxP quality processes with Veeva Vault QMS. Despite a significant acquisition partway through the project, Chris and Dennis’ exceptional leadership kept the implementation on track. Their infectious, can-do attitude has transformed technology and there are now 18,000 users live on Vault QMS.
Lisa Hornick, M.D.

Gina Schmidt
Gina saw how Veeva Vault RIM could support Sanofi’s global regulatory business transformation program. The implementation has simplified and standardized global regulatory operations. These improvements enable higher levels of data accuracy that inform regulatory decision making. This has been a multi-year project, involving the migration of millions of records and documents supporting thousands of submissions each year. Its success is due to Gina’s leadership and drive for excellence.
Congratulations to all the Veeva Heroes for their outstanding accomplishments.
