Veeva Heroes: Recognizing and Celebrating Innovators

Each year, Veeva honors six industry pioneers who over the year have gone above and beyond to help move the industry forward. These innovators pushed boundaries and navigated change at their company to improve processes and deliver outcomes.

I want to take the opportunity to honor the 2018 Veeva Heroes:

Veeva European R&D Summit
Biogen
Johan Siverstrand, Associate Director & Regional Platform Lead

A driving force behind Biogen’s move to improve customer engagement, Johan Siverstrand oversaw the company’s successful implementation of Veeva CRM Suite. He also led and managed the migration of 800 users to the Veeva Vault Platform. Johan has optimized the way Biogen field forces use closed-loop marketing and helped key account managers better serve their customers by implementing a specific timeline view.

Pfizer
Ryan Birch, Global Commercial Operations

Ryan has been instrumental in delivering multichannel capabilities at Pfizer. He project-managed the implementation of Veeva CRM Engage Meeting as an early adopter in Europe. And he subsequently supported the rollout to additional markets. As a champion of Veeva CRM MyInsights, Ryan made it possible for Pfizer to support better end-user decision making for call planning and multichannel execution. He also started the Pfizer EU Collaboration Forum. Not only did this help drive change with Pfizer affiliate, but it also got them active in sharing best practices with industry colleagues.

Violette Jerome, IA&P Operations, Operations Lead

Part of the International Advertising and Promotions team at Shire, Violette is on a mission to maximize the effective and efficient delivery of compelling and compliant promotional material. Violette has been a driving force behind the company’s move to digital asset management and Veeva Vault PromoMats Brand Portal. Her work has enhanced Shire’s collaboration and content reuse as well as enabled them to get content to market faster.

Menarini
Alessandro Scateni, Business Analyst – Commercial Excellence Consumer Health

One of the oldest pharmaceutical companies in Italy, Menarini needed to standardize on a single CRM solution that could scale and support Menarini’s rapid growth and drive more effective and efficient engagement with pharmacies. Alessandro led the initiative to implement order management capabilities by ensuring a strong understanding and alignment of the business requirements. He also changed his way of working to maximize the benefits that Menarini would derive from Veeva CRM.

Indivior
Dianne Goodburn, Commercial IT Director EU

Dianne was central in developing best practices for Indivior enterprise-wide rollout of Veeva Commercial Cloud. She helped the company’s sales and medical teams transform commercial execution as part of their launch activities in Europe. Dianne has driven a range of ambitious projects and conducted a global deployment of customer reference data. She also enabled Indivior’s customer-facing team to email relevant, compliant emails improving productivity and customer experience.

Grünenthal
Massimiliano Siciliano, Head of Global Internal Data Insights

Massimiliano was pivotal in promoting the value of digital capabilities in Grünenthal’s brand strategy framework. He has been a passionate and vocal advocate of the value of multichannel engagement since he joined the company almost six years ago. In 2018, Massimiliano championed senior leadership to build a strong foundation for digital success by rolling out Veeva Vault PromoMats. In parallel, he’s working on a new CLM framework to accelerate the relevance and effectiveness of insights and content. Massimiliano’s vision for 2019 is to continue innovating and optimizing the scalable content he has developed across other channels.
