Veeva CRM is moving to a continuous delivery cycle, with nine scheduled monthly releases including new features and maintenance items, along with three validated releases.

  • Automated Creation of Speaker Contracts in Windows: Events Management customers using Windows can automate the creation of speaker contracts according to contract templates.
  • Customizable Event Business Rules: Admins can now build custom business rules to assist event organizers when planning an event, minimize planning mistakes, and ensure compliance.
  • Expense Estimate Creation Rules: Event organizers frequently incur expenses associated with an event and log estimates for those expenses when planning for the event. Event admins can configure rules to automate this process whenever the organizer executes an action.

Watch the 20R2 Release Webinar on demand to learn about new features in this release. Key updates include:

  • Reviewing Approved Email before sending: Users can review and approve the final content of an email before it is sent to recipients, providing an additional level of compliance checking.
  • Capturing consent using confirmation emails: Users can now utilize an account’s current consent status based on the account’s unexpired opt-in or opt-out record.
  • Rating an Engage Meeting experience: Customers can now gain insights into the quality of the remote experience by collecting survey information from attendees immediately following the meeting to increase response rates, accuracy, and the amount of details provided.
  • Bulk-adding Engage Meeting attendees: Events Management users on Windows can now add event attendees in bulk, allowing efficient input of information.

Watch the 20R1.3 Release Webinar Deep Dive to learn about the latest enhancements in this release, including sharing MyInsights visualizations. This allows users to share any visualization available on their devices with iOS share actions, even with people who do not have access to Veeva CRM.

Watch the 20R1.2 Deep Dive webinar on-demand to learn about new features in this release, such as on-demand Double Opt-in. This allows users to choose between capturing a signature or sending a double opt-in confirmation email to confirm consent. This functionality applies to Approved Email channels and custom consent channels using email.

Watch the 20R1.1 Deep Dive webinar on-demand to learn about new features in this release. Key enhancements include:

  • Person Account Group Calls in Engage Meeting: Users can schedule a remote group call from a Person Account. End users send out unique join links to each invited attendee which allows attendance tracking.
  • Global Account Browse in Veeva CRM: Offline users can look outside their account assignments using the Sphere of Influence or Account Hierarchy to view additional account relationships.

Key enhancements include:

  • Remote Signatures for Sampling in Engage Meeting: Remote signature capture allows for sampling from Engage Meeting.
  • Approved Notes: Approved Notes allows customers to monitor free-text fields for compliance, enabling end-users to record notes directly in CRM.
  • Veeva CRM on iOS: Veeva CRM is available in the Apple App Store and now supports sign-in using 3rd party credentials or Face ID/Touch ID.
  • Lightning: For organizations that have deployed with the Veeva CRM 'Lightning Ready' upgrade, the Call Report page and Events Management pages display with Lightning styling.
  • Previewing Approved Email Links: Users are now able to preview their Vault and external links generated by tokens before sending emails.
  • Views and Lists with Dynamic Attributes: Users can now create My Account Views and Lists that display Dynamic Attributes, and can also include Dynamic Attributes as part of the filter criteria for My Account Views.
  • QR Code Self Sign-In: Event attendees can now sign into or register for an Event from their own personal devices using a QR code.
